Teacher:  Mrs. Cindy Haynes             Base curriculum:  A Beka

The 3rd & 4th Grade Class use the A Beka curriculum! Among the subjects this class will be studying are arithmetic, language, spelling, writing, science, history, Bible, and literature. The students will also benefit from many enrichment programs offered by CCA, such as educational field trips, music, art, physical education, a ski program, and community service opportunities.

Mrs. Cindy Haynes has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Her experience includes three years of teaching at CCA from 1980-1983, and many years of volunteer work at the school in reading, art, and yearbook. She has raised four children, who are now in college or married. She also has gained additional teaching experience through various ministries at Calvary Baptist Church, including her 7th–8th grade Sunday School Class and working in Children’s Church & Vacation Bible School. For the last ten years, she has served as our church Secretary. This year at the school, she is excited about reaching out to others, inspiring her students in their spiritual growth, and making their learning time fun!
