At CCA, we feel it is important to reach out to our community and show them something about who God is by the way we conduct ourselves towards those around us.

CCA is responsibile for a 2-mile stretch of Highway 12 just south of Claremont. At least 4 times a year, our students, staff, and some other volunteers comb the area and remove debris. It is hard work, but it lets our community know something about our commitment to be a strong and active part of the community. It is also a great experience for our students, and helps to promote our school in a very small way.

Once a month, our students travel to Cedar Hill Nursing Home in Windsor, VT to visit with many of the residents there. Each child "adopts" a grandparent and an effort is made to form a personal relationship with that resident. These elderly people really enjoy the visits, and it is a great experience for our students as well!
