Mrs.
Lyons' class: has
started working on a “manners” chapter in their Health class.
The students enjoyed practicing introducing a “new classmate” to
one another, and demonstrating the proper way to “interrupt”
grownups when they are talking. Nate also learned that as a boy, he
must not extend a hand to shake hands with a girl unless she first
extends her hand. Congratulations on 100%'s to Abigail Doran, Nate
Frisch and Vivian Bates.
Mrs.
Haynes' class:
The
3rd and 4th graders completed their final book reports for the year
this week. They made a diorama, portraying a scene from the book and
gave an oral report! The dioramas are on display in the lounge.
K-2
learned about texture and started making “Texture Bugs.”
3-4
learned about Mosaics and started creating one of their own.
5-8
worked on making patterned overlapping hands and identified negative
space.
9-12
finished working on their optical illusions and started a new
tessellations.
Mrs.
Proch's History/Geography Class:

you for helping! We have outfitted 7 Ugandan children for school!
There are more shoes and undies which will care for orphans. Rachel,
the Proch's daughter leaves June 6, if anyone would still like to
contribute $$$, we will get it to her before she flies out. Her team
is hoping to care for 16 children. Also, Chinese food & Bowling
outing – date to be announced soon.
Mrs.
Proch's 6th grade class:
Hats
off to Tori Bates and Megan DeMerchant who have finished their

Tori Bates and Brandon Neathawk.
Mrs.
